Abby Ross grew up in Stowe, Vermont and now calls Los Angeles home. With a yen for travel that has taken her everywhere from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, and Haiti to Europe, South and Central America, Abby has developed a practice of engaged travel photography that locates her subjects firmly in their own local culture while underscoring universal themes. Abby enjoys pursuing personal projects and making portraits with an emphasis on musicians, most recently, The Strokes, Quincy Jones, and JC and the Voidz. Abby's work has appeared in Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Interview, Wallpaper, and Vogue. Commercial clients include Apple, First National Bank, J.Crew, and Beats By Dre.
